New York, NY--Jewelers of America (JA) has issued a series of alerts to its members regarding the Trump Administration's newly announced global tariffs on imports. According to the organization's Facebook post, the tariffs are expected to impact goods from India and other key jewelry trade partners, raising concerns about potential price increases and uncertainty in the industry.

Per the JA alert, the organization advises members to take several steps in response. These include joining the Jewelers of America Political Action Committee to enhance industry advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C., and reaching out to lawmakers with information on how the tariffs may affect their businesses. Members are encouraged to use provided talking points and personal narratives in their communications with Congress and the Administration.

A also hosted a special Q&A session in partnership with the National Retail Federation. The event took place on Monday, April 7, at 3 p.m. EST, and answered member questions regarding the tariffs' implications.
