“The CASE Awards showcase the talents of bench jewelers and jewelry designers and allows JA members to gain valuable consumer and trade recognition. The jewelry entered into the CASE Awards demonstrates the high-level of craftsmanship and creativity that consumers can find in Jewelers of America-member stores nationwide,” says Amanda Gizzi, Jewelers of America's director of PR and events.

Winners will be awarded in five retail price categories; one winner in each category for retailer and supplier members, for a total of 10 categories. They are: jewelry up to $2,000 retail value; jewelry $2,001 to $5,000 retail value; jewelry $5,001 to $10,000 retail value; and jewelry $10,000 to $50,000 retail value. Judges will also select two pieces as “Best in Show,” one for retailers, and one for suppliers. JA members may enter a maximum of four pieces in the competition, one per category.

Winners will be selected by a panel of experts who will evaluate all entries based on overall design, marketability, wearability and quality of manufacture.  All winners will receive a customized CASE Awards trophy and national trade and consumer media exposure. Jewelers of America will promote all entrants through a social media and a digital marketing campaign adding extra exposure for the CASE Award entrants.

The CASE Awards are sponsored by Jewelers Mutual Group, Synchrony and Chosen Payments. The competition is open to staff of JA member companies. Companies who are not yet JA Members can join before March 22 and receive one free CASE Awards entry.
