Jewellery Geneva Show Attracts The ‘Best Buyers in the World’ April 07, 2025 (0 comments)

GENEVA, Switzerland--The best jewelry and watch retailers in the world are in Geneva during the annual Watches and Wonders watch fair in April and the exhibitors at Jewellery Geneva take full advantage of this opportunity.

The luxury buyers from all over the world converge in Geneva to buy their assortment of luxury watches. During this time, they the opportunity the view products at Jewellery Geneva from approximately 36 luxury jewelry designers and manufacturers primarily from Europe, Asia and the United States. Italy makes up the largest contingent of exhibitors followed by Germany. Jewellery Geneva, in its fourth year, was held April 1 – 7 at the President Hotel overlooking Lake Geneva, considered by many to be one of the world’s top luxury hotels.

Howard Hauben, who owns and operates the show said attendance surpassed last year’s totals by the fourth day. About 20% of the retailers are from the U.S., the rest of the buyers are mainly from Europe and Asia, but the entire world is represented.

But more importantly than the number of buyers is the importance of those buyers that is , attractive to these manufacturers and designers. “It’s not about quantity, it’s about quality,” said Jack Zybert, CEO of Zydo, an Italian jewelry brand Zydo. “The best buyers in the world are here in Geneva and we are here for them. It’s the right place to be.”

Zydo jewels personify Italian style by combining classic elegant jewels with a refreshed sense of modernity.

A representative from the Italian jewelry brand, Nanis, had similar comments, adding that “We have plenty of appointments.” Both companies have been exhibiting since the beginning.

Nanis specializes in high crafted and versatile 18k yellow gold jewels. Colored gems and pave diamonds bring even more versatility to its collections.

A new exhibitor was Australian luxury pearl specialist, Autore, who by the fifth day is already planning on returning. The company owns and operates its own pearl farms in Australia and Indonesia. Among the pieces it was exhibiting was its award-winning “Enchantress Necklace,” a large 18k rose gold snake necklace with encrusted with pink and white diamonds and South Sea Keshi pearls.

The big draws this year is internationally renowned Italian luxury brand, Roberto Coin, and possibly Qeelin, an international Asian luxury jewelry brand owned by French luxury goods holding company Kering. But there are certainly more jewelers who are worth seeing, presenting high designs diamonds and colored gems.

For example, Busatti Milano presents high jewelry pieces combining colored gems with diamonds in classic designs as a suite of jewels consisting of a necklace, earrings and ring consists of a pearl shaped ruby surrounded by diamonds on white gold.

Meanwhile, Hulchi Belluni, founded in 2001, presents high quality designer jewels known for its attention to detail and exquisite finishes using primarily diamonds with touches of colored gems. In particular, the firm is known for its stretch bracelets that are easily stackable.

J Jewels Milano, features paved diamonds and gold in most of its collections. This year, the company also presented the same pieces but with touches of black enamel that adds contrast.

Kahn, a high jewelry brand based in Hong Kong and New York, presented a number of fine pieces, including a flexible gold bracelet encrusted with gemstones and a several gems featuring large Paraiba tourmalines.
