New York—Jewelers for Children announces a new fundraising program that will help jewelers find the best rates for credit card processing and at the same time raise money for the charity without additional cost.

JFC has partnered with TRU, a consulting company that negotiates with payment processors to secure the lowest rates on credit card processing, check guarantees, and gift card solutions. Through TRU, a new credit card processing program will benefit jewelers with the lowest rates and benefit JFC with a donation each time a card is processed. The donations come from the fees paid from card processors to TRU.TRU also will donate 20% of profits derived from this program to JFC. 

TRU is not a card processing company; it will evaluate a business’s current card processing and if necessary find the best alternative that provides the lowest rates. The firm guarantees it will find the lowest rates and will provide for a smooth, paperless transition. For this program, they also will pay any cancellation fees if a change in processor is made, for the next 90 days. TRU also will supply a special counter card for jewelers to show their support of JFC to their customers.
