Schererville, IN--Josh Halpern of Albert’s Diamond Jewelers shared insights on wedding season and diamond buying in a recent Storytime with Josh video.

According to Halpern, the transition from winter to spring marks a peak period for engagements, making it his favorite time of year. In the video, posted on the jeweler’s official Facebook page, he encourages couples to visit the store for expert guidance on selecting engagement rings.

Halpern noted that Albert’s has updated its inventory to reflect current trends, including lab-grown diamonds in larger, elongated shapes such as radiant, emerald, and oval cuts. He also highlighted an expanded selection of GIA-graded natural diamonds in various fancy shapes and rounds.

According to Albert’s Diamond Jewelers, Halpern personally inspects each diamond before it is sold, ensuring quality and value. He recounted his early experience as a diamond buyer in his teens, a role he credits with shaping his expertise today.

Halpern emphasized the importance of trying on different ring styles in-store rather than relying on online images from platforms like Instagram or Pinterest. He advised customers to experiment with various designs, from narrow bands to wider settings, to find the most flattering option.
