Lexington, Ky.--A Whitley County Kentucky man has been sentenced to decades in prison for an armed robbery at a jewelry store, according to Lexington TV news station, WKYT.
Lonnie Huff, 45, of Emmalena, was convicted in Whitley Circuit Court of first-degree robbery and being a persistent felony offender, according to Commonwealth’s Attorney, Ronnie Bowling.
The charges stem from an armed robbery at Lloyd Williams Jewelry Store in Corbin on August 19. Court records reportedly state Huff threatened to harm people during the incident and was in possession of a pistol.

Court documents reportedly indicate Huff had previous felony convictions in Perry County and was on probation at the time of the robbery.
The judge sentenced Huff to 25 years in prison. The sentence will be served consecutively to a 13-year sentence Huff was already on parole for.
Officials reportedly said Huff will not be eligible for parole on the robbery conviction until he has served 20 years of the sentence.
