Los Angeles, CA--Larchmont Jewelers opened on August 1 in a historic 1923 building at 119 N. Larchmont Blvd. Owner David Lee spent the past year renovating the structure, working with the City's Office of Historic Resources to maintain its status as a historic cultural monument, the first on Larchmont Boulevard.

According to a news report in Larchmont Buzz, the store offers luxury watches and jewelry from brands like Rolex, TUDOR, Cartier, Breitling, and Breguet. Though smaller than Lee's other Walnut and San Gabriel locations, Larchmont Jewelers will carry many of the same high-end brands as his Hing Wa Lee Jewelers.

The report added that after a long-time Rolex dealer in Koreatown retired, Lee searched for a location that met the brand's standards. Larchmont Boulevard was ideal for its shopping district reputation and historic neighborhoods.

Initially considering a space in Larchmont Mercantile across the street, Lee chose to buy the building at 119 N. Larchmont. Per the report, he stated that owning the location shows his commitment to the community and allows for investment in the property without lease concerns.

The store's name, Larchmont Jewelers, was chosen for its strong connection to the neighborhood. Lee holds the trademark and copyright for the name, which he said resonates with his clients and friends.

Larchmont Jewelers aims to serve local buyers rather than online resellers, as Lee prefers to establish relationships with his customers. The report notes that the store's first floor features lounge-style seating and showcases, while the second floor will offer a bar area and a watchmaker's booth equipped with a video system for training and events.

The space also includes a room for fine jewelry and an event area decorated with Lee's collection of guitars and a motorcycle.
