New York, NY--Le Vian, in collaboration with Jared, has introduced the Mare Azzurro Collection, a range of blue gemstone jewelry. This collection, inspired by the diverse shades of the Mediterranean Sea, is exclusively available at Jared starting November 9, 2023. The pieces, priced between $1,750 and $17,000, with select high jewelry items reaching $500,000, showcase Le Vian's creative prowess and innovative craftsmanship.
The Mare Azzurro Collection features an array of signature blue stones, including the exclusive Trillion cut Blueberry Tanzanite, Round Brilliant cut Blueberry Zircon, Portuguese Checkerboard Oval cut Deep Sea Blue Topaz, and Tear Drop cut Sea Blue Aquamarine, all elegantly set in Le Vian's Vanilla Gold.
In a news release, Le Vian highlights its expertise in this rare gemstone, sourced from a single mine in Tanzania. Their Trillion cut showcases Tanzanite's tri-chroic nature, changing color with varying light angles. The collection also boasts other blue gemstones like Blueberry Zircon, known for its brilliance surpassing even that of diamonds, and the deeply hued Deep Sea Blue Topaz.
In addition to these pieces, Jared will host High Jewelry & Gem Galas featuring exclusive Mare Azzurro designs. These events will spotlight unique handcrafted designs in Platinum and 18k gold, embellished with Le Vian's 'unicorn gems' like Peacock Aquaprase, Cornflower Ceylon Sapphire, and Ocean Blue Topaz.
Claudia Cividino, President of Jared, expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing Jared's commitment to offering exquisite collections that elevate the brand's position in accessible luxury, especially for the holiday season.
Eddie LeVian, CEO of Le Vian, shared the inspiration behind the collection, rooted in a post-pandemic desire for escapism to tranquil and remote seas. The Mare Azzurro Collection aims to encapsulate this serenity through its original designs and rare gemstones reminiscent of sea waters.
