Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry to Hold Gold Buying Event Feb. 25–26 in Baton Rouge January 15, 2026 (0 comments)
Baton Rouge, LA--Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry will host a Gold Buying Event on February 25 and 26 at its Corporate at Bocage location in Baton Rouge, according to an event update from the retailer.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days at 7560 Bankers Ave., Baton Rouge. According to the update, customers can receive on-the-spot offers for eligible items, with no obligation to sell.
The retailer said it will purchase gold, silver, and platinum jewelry in any condition, including broken pieces. The event will also accept natural diamonds, luxury Swiss watches, gold and silver coins minted in 1964 or earlier, and sterling silver flatware or serving pieces stamped “Sterling,” per the update. Insurance valuations for diamonds are encouraged to help expedite grading.
According to the update, gold- or silver-plated items will not be accepted. The event is positioned as a limited-time opportunity tied to rising gold prices, the retailer noted.
