Per a report in Red Bank Greem, the move from 35 East Front Street, where it has been based for 35 years, aims to increase visibility and meet Rolex's requirement for a 1,000-square-foot showroom space.

Leonardo Jewelers is the only authorized Rolex retailer in Monmouth County, necessitating the expansion to maintain this status.

Owner Leo Zeik mentioned in the report that the move is in response to Rolex's retail standards, which demand larger showroom spaces. Despite success at its more secluded current location, the new site offers improved access and visibility.

Leonardo Jewelers, founded in Elizabeth in 1964 by Leonardo Zeik, has remained a family-operated business, now run by his children Leo, Ivette Zeik Fernicola, and Vivian Zeik Lund.

Manager Paul Monteiro noted the store's unique position as a destination for multiple generations of customers. The relocation promises enhanced customer reach due to its central location and dedicated parking at Linden Place.

The new store is expected to open by October.
