Lewis Heyman Retires After 28 Years with Oscar Heyman July 15, 2025 (0 comments)
New York, NY--Lewis Heyman, co-President and head stone buyer at Oscar Heyman, has retired following his 28th anniversary at the multi-generational family-owned high jewelry brand.
Lewis extended the brand’s gemstone relationships to include gem cutters from across the globe, including Australia, Brazil, Bangkok, Colombia, France, Hong Kong, Germany, India, Japan, Sri Lanka, and Switzerland.

Lewis joined the Peace Corps out of college and then received his Masters from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs. His love of travel and global connections served him well when he joined Oscar Heyman’s gem sourcing team in 1997, the company said. Lewis traveled abroad multiple times each year in search of premium quality gemstones worthy of the brand’s extraordinary reputation. He managed and worked closely with a team of gemstone experts to ensure the very highest quality of every stone purchased for use in Oscar Heyman fine jewelry.
