Carlstadt, NJ--This summer, Lika Behar welcomed third-generation jeweler Leslie Panowicz, owner of Panowicz Jewelers, along with Abigail Vieregg, daughter of Mark Vieregg of Walters & Hogsett Jewelers, to their New Jersey office for a day dedicated to honoring generational jewelers.

Joined by Panowicz’s daughter, Mimi, (and her bestie Lauren Wolin), the group came together with a shared mission: to create a campaign that celebrates familial ties within the jewelry industry and the joy of working together.

The day was marked by creativity and collaboration, led by creative director and photographer, Abigail Vieregg, a talented 19-year-old design student based in New York. Vieregg brought her fresh perspective to Lika’s various collections, styling the pieces in innovative ways that reflect her unique vision. Her approach is aimed to showcase the collection not just as jewelry, but as a celebration of craftsmanship and connection across generations.

“I will remember this day in my early career forever. Lika trusted my vision and allowed me full creative responsibility,” said Abigail Vieregg, “It was mesmerizing seeing her entire collection in person, and then being able to style the pieces on Mimi was a huge part of bringing my vision to life.”

Behar and Vieregg's relationship took root at Walters & Hogsett Jewelers in Boulder, CO, where their collaboration blossomed. They aim to inspire others by showcasing the enduring beauty of generational jewelry and the deep connections that sustain this timeless craft.
