Los Angeles, CA--American jewelry designer, Lisa Nik, has donated a pair of earrings worn by Spanish singer and actress, Beatríz Luengo, to the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards. They are being shown as part of a new exhibit titled “Latin Grammys 25 – A Legacy of Musical Excellence at the Grammy Museum” on display at the Grammy Museum.

Lisa Nikfarjam, the founder of Lisa Nik, describes the earrings as being part of a “significant moment in Latin music history. Luengo and her husband, Cuban singer Yotuel Romero, were honored with awards in two categories – “Song of the Year” and “Urban Song” for their song “Patria y Vida” (Fatherland and Life), which became a social anthem and sparked a major movement for human rights and freedom in Cuba. The outfits worn by Luengo and Romero on this historic night are featured in the exhibit, which includes Lisa Nik earrings. The exhibit will remain in the museum’s permanent collection, serving as a lasting testament to the cultural significance of Latin music and its influence on global social movements.

“I am honored to see one of my pieces featured among other items that have marked a very special moment in popular culture and music history,” Nikfarjam said.

The 18k gold earrings are part of Lisa Nik’s Golden Hoops collection, a selection of iconic pieces designed to complement any outfit with their sinuous and clean shapes.

Lisa Nik’s jewelry is recognized for its blend of elegant and bold design, qualities that have made her an important jewelry designer. Her creations continues to resonate with strong, fashionable women worldwide, and this donation highlights her commitment to supporting meaningful cultural moments. She is the jeweler of choice of many celebrities and has accessorized some of the top Latin stars, including Ana Bárbara, Gloria Trevi, Paulina Rubio and Thalía.

The 2024 Latin Grammy Awards are taking place on November 14 in Miami.
