Little Treasury Expands Its Time Out Watch Fair to Three Days October 03, 2024 (0 comments)

Gambrills, MD--Little Treasury Jewelers is hosting “Time Out 2024,” its 12th annual watch fair on October 10, 11 and 12. The jewelry says the event “brings together watch enthusiasts and industry professionals from across the country and overseas,” adding that “it is one of the largest and longest running watch fairs hosted by a watch retailer in the U.S. The fair this year is expanded from two to three days and will span across multiple venues at the Village at Waugh Chapel in Gambrills, Maryland.Time Out 2023 was attended by more than 150 community members, industry professionals and watch personalities.

The first day of the fair will be dedicated to showcasing emerging and new-to-market watch brands, Arcanaut (the Netherlands), Atelier Wen (China), Äonic (Germany), Excelsior Park (Switzerland), Fears (UK), ArtyA (Switzerland), Straum (Norway), Praesidus (Switzerland), and Winfield (Maryland, USA). Brand representatives will exhibit their collections in The Escapement—an event space and video studio Little Treasury opened in 2023. The day will end with a cocktail reception hosted by the exhibiting brands.

Days two and three will include most of the 20-plus watch brands carried by Little Treasury including, Grand Seiko, Seiko, Oris, Frederique Constant, DOXA and Alexander Shorokhoff. Time Out features meet-and-greets with brand representatives, and unique experiences provided by watch brands. Oris will send the Oris Airstream, a mobile boutique and bar inside a vintage Airstream trailer, filled with the brand’s latest novelties.

The fair will be held in the main store, The Escapement, and in tents set up in the adjacent parking lot. Barbeque and sandwiches, fresh shucked oysters, drinks, door prizes and goodie bags for registered attendees.

In addition to timepieces, Porsche Annapolis will show their cars in the parking lot alongside vintage cars from R&M Performance—which specializes in automobile restoration. Time Out also supports the non-profit Oyster Recovery Partnership, dedicated to cleaning up the Chesapeake Bay, which provides fresh shucked oysters for the annual event.

Little Treasury’s watch inventory contains more than 25 watch brandsincluding Grand Seiko, OMEGA and Breitling, to NOMOS, Alexander Shorokoff and Towson Watch Company, along with bridal and fashion fine jewelry, with natural and lab-grown diamonds and colored gemstones. Branded collections include pieces from Gabriel & Co, FOPE, Simon G and Roberto Coin.

The family-owned retailer has been in business for 28 years and has stores in Gambrills and Baltimore, Maryland.
