London’s Old Bond Street Gets One of Europe’s Biggest Rolex Boutiques March 19, 2025 (0 comments)

London, United Kingdom--Watches of Switzerland Group has opened one of Europe’s largest Rolex boutiques on Old Bond Street in London’s Mayfair district. Spanning 7,200 square feet across four floors, the store officially opened to the public on March 14, according to The Manual.

Per the report, the boutique continues a partnership that began in 1919 when Northern Goldsmiths in Newcastle first carried Rolex timepieces. Watches of Switzerland has operated the Old Bond Street site for 50 years.

The store offers Rolex’s full lineup, including the GMT Master II, Cosmograph Daytona, and Submariner. The report also features sections for Rolex Certified Pre-Owned watches and a historical exhibit of the brand’s 120-year history.

Each floor serves a distinct function. The ground level has a marble reception area and a green marble wall. The first floor includes private suites for viewing rare models. An art installation with gold bezels and green glass spans the atrium.

The lower ground level houses the Rolex Exhibition space and Certified Pre-Owned area, designed with seating and gallery walls featuring Rolex ambassadors. The second floor contains a Rolex Authorized Service Centre with five watchmakers and two technicians working behind glass walls.

Richard de Leyser, Managing Director of Rolex UK, stated that the boutique represents an advancement in customer service standards.
