Nashville, TN—Some lucky jewelers at the Select By Centurion jewelry shows each went home with additional merchandise, thanks to a special raffle at each show. The money they won was valid only at that show for purchases from show vendors, and in order to win, the retailer had to be in the room when their name was drawn and spend the money before the close of the show.

It created a lot of excitement, said Joe Carullo, one of the founders of the Select by Centurion shows. In Nashville, Bill Ferrell, owner of Jewelers Choice in Memphis, TN, won $5,000, and Betty Blanco of Jones and Jones in McAllen, TX, won $2,000. At Foxwoods, Gregory Levin of Ernie Ross Jewelers in Dartmouth, MA, won $2,000; Maria's Fine Jewelry, Worcester, MA, won $3,000; and Susette Tibus of Simply Majestic, Mystic, CT, won $5,000.

Tatyana and Zara Vinhas, daughters of jeweler Helena Vinhas of Vinhas Jewelers Inc., Newark, NJ, drew the winners at the Select By Centurion show at Foxwoods. Looking on is Select Shows’ Jordan Spears.
