Burdese joined LVMH in 2016 as CEO of Acqua di Parma and moved to Bulgari in 2022 as chief marketing officer. The report stated that she was promoted to deputy CEO in July 2024. In her new role, she will report to Stéphane Bianchi, managing director and CEO of LVMH Watches & Jewelry.

She succeeds Jean-Christophe Babin, who has served as Bulgari CEO since 2013. According to the report, Babin will remain chair of the Bulgari board, CEO of the Bulgari Hotel business, president of the Bulgari Foundation, and CEO of LVMH Watches, which includes Tag Heuer, Hublot, and Zenith.

The report cited HSBC estimates placing Bulgari’s 2024 revenues at €3.27 billion, compared with less than €1 billion in 2010, before LVMH acquired the brand in 2011. Morgan Stanley estimates referenced in the report showed Bulgari sales reached €2 billion in 2020.

The report noted that Babin oversaw expansion across Bulgari’s jewelry, watchmaking, and hotel businesses, as well as the opening of a jewelry production facility in Valenza and the launch of Scuola Bulgari, a training school focused on jewelry.
