Fletcher, NC--Marthaler Jewelers in a Facebook post announced the expansion of its dedicated CAD and design studio, a move designed to accommodate the retailer's in-house factory and manufacturing operations.
The expanded studio integrates a full suite of production technologies, including computer-aided design (CAD), 3D scanning, and 3D printing. According to the company, the update allows for a vertically integrated production process where "every sparkle, every detail" is created on-site by a team of jewelry artisans.
Branded as "Marthaler Made," the initiative emphasizes the retailer's ability to turn "imagination into dazzling reality" through the use of state-of-the-art equipment.
"We’ve expanded our dedicated CAD and design studio to make room for our in-house factory and manufacturing," the company stated in the video. "From CAD design, to 3D scanning, to 3D printing, everything [is] done in-house."
