Michaels Jewelers to Open New Estate Sale Location in Avon April 13, 2026 (0 comments)
Avon, CT--Michaels Jewelers is re-entering the local market with a specialized retail center focused on estate jewelry. Located at 25 Climax Road in the Avon Village Center, the facility is slated to open this weekend following the brand's six-year absence from the town.

A report by the New Haven Register stated that the family-owned chain from Westfield, Massachusetts, last operated in Avon in 2020. The new storefront will feature a curated selection of previously owned items, ranging from contemporary pieces to antique and vintage collectibles.
The report added that estate jewelry sales constitute roughly 17% of the company's overall business. “We have some rare, unique items,” said Marketing Director Deanna Steiner, as reported by the outlet, adding that pre-owned pieces remain a popular category for the retailer.
As stated in the report, Michaels Jewelers currently operates 10 stores throughout Connecticut. The company also maintains specialized buying centers in Windsor Locks and Cromwell to support its inventory of secondary-market jewelry.
