Paris, France--Mikimoto has introduced its 2025 High Jewellery Collection, titled “Les Pétales,” during Paris Couture Week, presenting more than 40 pieces inspired by the fleeting elegance of rose petals caught mid-air.

According to a report by Prestige, the collection aims to capture moments of stillness and movement through intricate designs that merge natural motifs with the artistry of high jewelry.

Many creations in “Les Pétales” prominently feature Mikimoto’s signature cultured Akoya pearls, integrated alongside colored gemstones such as sapphires, morganite, tourmaline, and diamonds. According to the report, these materials are used to create pieces that suggest petals in bloom or drifting in the breeze.

Highlights from the collection include a brooch centered around rare conch pearls framed by sapphire and diamond “petals,” and a necklace designed to mimic the cascading form of a rose in full bloom. Other pieces—such as bracelets and headpieces—are crafted with fluid lines and intricate pearl arrangements, showcasing Mikimoto’s craftsmanship in translating organic forms into wearable art.

Mikimoto Global Brand Ambassador Dilraba represents the collection, which continues the Japanese maison’s tradition of elevating pearl jewelry beyond classic interpretations.
