Milanj Diamonds Founder Retires After Four Decades, Launches Liquidation Sale at King of Prussia Mall November 18, 2025 (0 comments)
King of Prussia, PA--Milanj Diamonds is running a storewide retirement sale at King of Prussia Mall as founder Jalil Bami steps down after more than 40 years, according to a Patch report.
Bami, 68, known as "Mr. Milanj," said he is reducing his workload for health reasons while continuing part-time. "I still love what I do, just like the first day," he said.
Per the report, the sale is a full inventory liquidation at the flagship location at 160 North Gulph Road in King of Prussia. The event includes jewelry sourced from various regions, one-of-a-kind pieces, bridal sets, and gemstones such as rubies, sapphires, and emeralds.
Bami told the outlet that some items were purchased before recent increases in gold and diamond prices. The report stated that about 90 percent of pieces are unique.
Patch noted that Bami founded Milanj Diamonds in 1984 and later consolidated seven locations into the flagship store at King of Prussia Mall in 1995. "When you sell a diamond, you're part of a memory," he said.
The retirement sale is open from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Sunday. Customers can call 610-992-0707 or visit milanjdiamonds.com for details.
