Geneva, Switzerland--Frederique Constant has released the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture, limited to 36 pieces. The 39mm white gold case watch features an aventurine dial with a tourbillon and the brand’s signature Heart Beat aperture. The entire watch was designed in-house, the company said.

The watch is powered by the caliber FC-980-4 automatic movement with a silicon escapement, hand-bevelled chamfers, beading on the bridges, straight-grained flanks and a mirror polish. Silicon protects the escapement from running variations resulting from temperature changes or magnetisation from speakers, computers, fasteners or phones, which can harm movements sensitive to even the smallest magnetic fields.

The hand-crafted aventurine dial is inspired by the “celestial vault,” the company said. Frederique Constant’s signature Heart Beat is located on the dial at 6’ o’clock, sharing space with the 60-second tourbillon. The watch is completed with a leather strap.
