Merrick, NY—New designers Laura Medine and Mark Henry will debut their collections at the Centurion South Beach show, October 14-16 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Miami, FL.

Medine and Henry are not only bonded through jewelry and a shared love of Alexandrite, but also through marriage, though they retain their own creative aesthetic. Medine was born into a family of diamond and colored stone traders who encouraged and fostered her jewelry designs and talents. She understood the transformative powers of jewelry since she was a child, and believes the right piece of jewelry can have a profound effect on the wearer, both emotionally and physically. Her rich family history in the jewelry industry and her passion for natural Alexandrites and unique gemstones can be seen throughout her feminine and sophisticated designs, all handcrafted in 18K and using only the finest finishes and gemstones.

Henry’s collection is one of the world’s only designer collections specializing in natural Alexandrite. The mysterious Alexandrite is prized for its natural ability to dramatically change color from vibrant mossy green in daylight to raspberry red in evening and incandescent light.
