Pocatello, ID--Parle Jewelry Designs has highlighted a pair of 14K yellow gold earrings featuring chatoyant malachite and Montana sapphires.

According to the post shared by them on Facebook, the malachite in the earrings displays chatoyancy, also known as the “cat's eye” effect—a band of reflected light that appears to move across the stone's surface. The post stated that this optical effect is caused by fibrous structures or inclusions within the mineral.
The Montana sapphires used in the design are sourced from the United States, and the earrings are crafted to reflect American manufacturing standards.
Per the post, the pairing of malachite and sapphire combines contrasting colors and textures within a single piece.
