New York, NY--Pinterest's 2025 Wedding Trends Report highlights a shift in bridal jewelry, driven by Gen Z preferences for vintage styles, colored gemstones, and ring stacking. According to the report, over 3.8 billion wedding-related searches and 13.4 billion wedding idea saves were recorded on the platform in one year.

Demand Rises for Vintage and Non-Traditional Ring Styles

Searches for "vintage wedding rings 1920s" increased by 1458%, "vintage cushion cut engagement ring" by 175%, and "1950s engagement ring" by 76%, as per the report. Other trending styles include elongated hexagon, heart-shaped, and east-west engagement rings.

Ring Stacking and Mixed Metals Gain Ground

The report noted strong interest in stacking and mixing ring styles, with "marquise engagement ring stack" searches up 1110%, "radiant engagement ring stack" up 567%, and "mixed metal ring stack wedding bands" up 286%. These trends reflect growing demand for layered, customizable looks.

Colored Gemstones See Increased Interest

Engagement rings featuring colored stones are gaining popularity. According to the report, searches rose for "brown diamond engagement ring" (+179%), "champagne diamond engagement ring" (+85%), and "pink diamond wedding rings" (+349%). Citrine, sapphire, and chocolate diamonds also saw upward trends.

Focus on Customization and Personal Aesthetic

Stackable rings continue to be used for engagements, anniversaries, and other milestones. The report noted that Gen Z couples are combining materials and settings to create personalized combinations.
