Product Gallery: PICCHIOTTI’s Limited-Edition Xpandable Natural Wood Bracelet March 10, 2021 (0 comments)
Valenza, Italy—PICCHIOTTI is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its trademarked Xpandable Collection. First launched in 2016, the Xpandable line achieved a rare 20-year U.S. patent in 2019, and now celebrates five years of continued growth and success. Because the traditional five-year anniversary gift is wood, the Picchiotti family is commemorating this milestone with a limited-edition natural snakewood bracelet added to the collection.
The 18k rose and white gold Xpandable bracelet features round diamonds and purposely recut naturally shaded snakewood, where some strips appear lighter and some darker. The design is both modern in its use of the unusual wood material and classic in its tailored styling. The invisible Xpandable technology allows the bracelet to easily expand and contract with no clasp required. A limited quantity of only five bracelets will be made.
“What continues to excite me most about our patented and invisible Xpandable mechanism is the idea that great jewelry design can solve problems,” says Giuseppe Picchiotti, founder of the jewelry house. “With freedom from ring-sizing and cumbersome bracelet clasps, the Xpandable designs offer luxurious comfort and ease. They have also become a template for continual experimentation, with exciting new materials like snakewood, the perfect symbol of our five years of expansion and customer satisfaction.”
The designs reflect Picchiotti’s love of architectural inspirations and his commitment to using unique colored gemstones. The fashion-forward creations are made to stack and combine by color and style.
