Zanesville, OH--Patrick Pugh, gemologist and owner of Pugh's Diamond Jewelers, embodies a tradition started by his father in 1949. Beginning his journey in the family business as a child, Patrick learned the craft from his family, evolving the store into a renowned diamond specialty shop in Ohio.

Founded with a $500 investment, Pugh's Diamond Jewelers has grown through family efforts, notes a report in Times Recorder. As it reaches its 75th anniversary, the store's longevity is attributed to its dedication to education, fairness, and customer satisfaction.

Patrick, a Zanesville native and Bishop Rosecrans High School and Ashland University graduate, has earned titles from the Gemological Institute of America and the American Gem Society, joining the family business in 1988.

Customers like Angie Jordan, who has been with Pugh since 2009, recognize Patrick's dedication to maintaining his father's legacy. Patrick acknowledges the challenges faced but remains committed to his craft and the business ethos.

"Patrick's love and commitment to what his father birthed 75 years ago is commendable," Jordan said in the report.

"I'm just one of those fortunate individuals who's doing what he always wanted to do," Pugh responded, per the report.

"I'm blessed to really enjoy coming to the office and taking on new challenges," Pugh added. "I've had my ups and downs in life and business, but I wouldn't change anything for the world."

Located at 1202 Brandywine Blvd., Pugh's Diamond Jewelers is a testament to quality craftsmanship and a deep-rooted family tradition.
