Jewelers of America Opens Impact Initiative Applications April 10, 2026 (0 comments)
New York, NY--Applications are now being accepted for the Jewelers of America Impact Initiative, and funds will be awarded to organizations or companies based on programs, potential reach and need.
Eligible companies include those who are nonprofit organizations with a clear mission for jewelry industry advancement, companies offering jewelry-related programming, and trade associations focused on the US jewelry sector.
The Jewelers of America Impact Initiative is a multifaceted program dedicated to fostering the growth and sustainability of the jewelry industry. The initiative provides essential funding to organizations within the United States jewelry sector for projects that enhance the industry through ethical practices, environmental responsibility, education and innovation advancement.
Jewelers of America (JA) said the funds for this initiative are set up like an endowment and Jewelers of America will be giving an initial $150,000 for 2026 with a goal to create positive change long into the future.
“Jewelers of America is committed to elevating the jewelry industry. We believe that by supporting programming of other associations, we can make even more impact,” said JA president & CEO David J. Bonaparte. “We look forward to seeing the applications for this year and remain grateful to our Board of Directors for supporting our vision to create the Impact Initiative.”
The 2025 inaugural Impact Initiative funds were awarded to BIJC Education Fund, Diamonds Do Good, Jewelers Security Alliance, Jewelers Vigilance Committee, Providence Jewelers Club and the Texas Jewelers Association.
Jewelers of America said the Impact Initiative is a key part of the association’s strategic plan that prioritizes development in key areas that make up the organization’s identity: energize and serve the member community, advance education and amplify advocacy.
Applications for the Jewelers of America Impact Initiative will close on May 18. Information can be found on the Jewelers of America’s website.
