Saks Global Reorganizes Top Positions October 31, 2025 (0 comments)
New York, NY--In a management shakeup several top executives for Saks Global are leaving the company, according to a report by WWD on Friday.
The objective is to cut costs, improve relations with brands and vendors, and reposition Marc Metrick, Saks CEO, to more directly involved with the company, according to the WWD report.
Emily Essner, who was named president and chief commercial officer of Saks Global in December 2024 when the luxury retailer purchased the Neiman Marcus Group, has left the company, WWD reports. Essner previously served as chief marketing officer at Saks.
In addition, Bill Bine, chief transformation officer for Saks Global and Rob Brooks, the chief operating officer for Saks Global, have also left the company, according to the report. As with Essner, both were appointed to their roles in December.
Also leaving the company is Bill Bine, chief transformation officer for Saks Global, and Rob Brooks, the chief operating officer for Saks Global, who has accepted another job within the technology industry, WWD reports. These functions have now been reassigned to existing executives in different areas of the business.
In other changes, Kim Miller, president of Saks Off 5th, has been tapped as chief customer officer, a new role at Saks Global.
Certain responsibilities once held by Essner will now be passed onto Metrick, Miller and Paolo Riva, chief brand partnerships and buying officer for Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman’s.
The changes were reportedly outlined in an email to vendors and brands, obtained by WWD, in which Metrick stated that Riva would report to him so that he can play more of a direct role in related partner strategies.
In the email, Metrick reportedly noted that there would be no changes to Riva’s team, nor the Bergdorf Goodman team.
Saks Global is the largest multi-brand luxury retailer in the world, comprising Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Off 5th, Last Call and Horchow.
