New York, NY—When Robbins Brothers “The Engagement Ring Store” wanted to create a unique approach to selling platinum bridal jewelry, the store turned to designer Phyllis Bergman not only for jewelry but also for sage advice to give to couples just starting their lives together.

On the 50th anniversary of marriage to her husband, Ira, Phyllis Bergman wanted to share the secret of her successful marriage to inspire couples just beginning that journey. So she wrote a book. Titled Married 50 Years & Still Dating, the book (left) highlights a formula that sounds simple. As “The Engagement Ring Store, ” Robbins Brothers tapped Bergman to create a new collection of platinum-exclusive engagement rings and wedding bands. Platinum Relationships by Phyllis Bergman will debut in the retailer’s Glendale and San Diego stores in California, and one store in Houston, TX.

“Phyllis Bergman’s engaging book will inspire couples to begin writing their own love story as they select their engagement ring and wedding band from this beautiful collection. The collection, which comes with a signature white and blue display, features 20 platinum engagement ring and wedding band styles. A signed copy of Married 50 Years & Still Dating will be gifted with each purchase.

Says Bergman, “I love the way platinum feels on my finger. It just feels special. I wanted to create a platinum collection that celebrates how special a marriage can be if you vow to keep on dating.”
