Omaha, NE—The 2014 national championship ring for the Omaha Storm Chasers baseball team was unveiled last week at Borsheims’ Regency Court location. The Storm Chasers are the Triple-A minor league affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. This is the Storm Chasers’ second consecutive Triple-A National Championship, and the second year Borsheims has helped produce the rings.

The rings, designed by Borsheims with input from the Storm Chasers, are stainless steel with blue sapphires and diamonds; or, for some of the rings, are blue sapphires and crystal. A total of 205 rings and 25 women’s pendants were made for the 2014 National Championship team.

Storm Chasers general manager Martie Cordaro and co-owner Gary Green presented the rings to the nearly 50 people in attendance, including corporate sponsors and front office staff. Storm Chasers players will receive their rings at a ceremony next week at their spring training facility in Arizona.
