Tallahassee, FL—The Gem Collection has been awarded a Tally Award, sponsored by Capital City Youth Services. Tally Awards are presented to those businesses that are voted favorites in their category by consumers. The Gem Collection was voted Best Jeweler In Tallahassee. Voting begins in the fall and concluded in February. The Gem Collection, owned by Don and Dorothy Vodicka, also has been voted Best Jewelry Store in Tallahassee for five years in a row by Tallahassee magazine. In the industry, the store was twice voted in the “Top 50 National Designer Retailers” by JCK magazine. The firm also is a member of both the American Gem Society and the Independent Jewelers Organization.

CCYS, the prime sponsor of the award, offers services for runaway, homeless, truant, ungovernable, and other at-risk youth and their families.
