Merrick, NY—Many retailers have an annual ‘holiday readiness’ checklist that is unique to their businesses. It’s generally built around ideas/promotions/etc. that worked, and avoids those that did not.

This week, we’ll share a few items on the Holiday checklist from Susan Eisen Fine Jewelry (El Paso, TX) and Von Bargen’s (locations in Vermont and New Hampshire).

Susan Eisen (below right), Chief Creative and Appraisal Officer: “Tie up loose ends with getting the jewelry out, make new in case signs, get lots of sleep and keep my fingers crossed for a fabulous year!” she says. And those in-case signs? They say ‘Susan’s Pick For The Holidays.’

Julie Von Bargen Thom, Owner (below left): “Build wish lists and follow up on them. Desire creates demand!”
