Richmond Jewelers Contribute Over $22K to Local Children’s Hospital Charity January 03, 2024 (0 comments)
Richmond, VA--A group of 10 local jewelers successfully raised $22,950 for the Children's Hospital Foundation at Virginia Commonwealth University. This sum was collected through the 2023 Jewels for Children raffle, held with the Children's Hospital Foundation Ball in November 2023.

Per a report in Blanchardmedias, ten independent, family-owned jewelry businesses participated in the event, each contributing an estimated $5,000 in jewelry pieces for the raffle.
The contributors included Carreras Jewelers, Cheryl Fornash Jewelers, Cowardin's Jewelers, Dransfield Jewelers, Fink's Jewelers, Luster by Adolf, Charles Schwarzschild Jewelers, Schwarzschild Jewelers, Victoria Charles Jewelry, and Alan Furs and Fine Jewelry.
These jewelers have demonstrated their commitment to the community by consistently donating to the Jewels for Children raffle each year since its inception in 2009.
Initially conceptualized and created by Cheryl Fornash of Cheryl Fornash Jewelers, the event has collectively raised more than $200,000, significantly impacting local charitable efforts.
