Bellevue, WA--Rolex has filed permits with the City of Bellevue to open a new boutique at The Shops at The Bravern, according to a report by Downtown Bellevue Network citing city records.

The proposed store would occupy the main-level space previously used by Wolford, adjacent to the former Neiman Marcus location, which closed in 2020. The report noted that the permit filings are currently under review, with no construction timeline or opening date disclosed.

If approved, the boutique would place Rolex among other luxury retailers at The Bravern. The report stated that another Swiss watch brand, Omega, already operates a boutique two storefronts away.

Rolex operates a limited number of brand-owned retail locations, relying primarily on authorized dealers, often high-end jewelry stores, for distribution. As a result, the opening of a standalone boutique is considered notable within the brand’s tightly controlled retail model.

The report highlighted that Rolex has expanded its physical retail presence in select markets in recent years. Since 2024, the brand has opened boutiques in Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Plano, Texas, as well as in the Miami Design District and Royalmount in Montreal. Additional locations include Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, which opened in December 2024, and Old Bond Street in London in 2025. A Rolex boutique is also planned for Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
