Round Diamonds Reign Supreme: Exclusive Data Uncovers Consumer Favorite April 14, 2025 (0 comments)
Newport Beach, CA--Round diamonds continue to be by far the most popular diamond shape among consumers, according to exclusive data obtained by Centurion.
According to website searches, consumers are three times more likely to specify round diamonds for their jewels.
The data on consumer searches is provided exclusively to the Centurion by GemFind, a digital marketing and website design company. The findings are based on searches at hundreds of independent jewelers’ websites that GemFind manages.
Round diamond shapes accounted for nearly 220,000 search results in 2024, according to GemFind, far surpassing searches for cushion and oval shapes, which each accounted for approximately 70,000 website clicks.
This was followed by asscher and emerald cuts which accounted for approximately 50,000 website searches each. The rest of the results can be seen on the chart below.
