The incident took place on December 23 at Alta Arden Watches & Jewelry Repair on Fulton Avenue. Owner Hamid Sohrabi told the station that two individuals entered the store in the afternoon, took jewelry, and fled, as shown in security footage.

According to the report, dozens of rings were stolen, with losses estimated at $25,000. Sohrabi said he did not intervene due to safety concerns for his family.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office is investigating the case, and no arrests have been made, the report noted. A spokesperson told the outlet that the incident appears to be isolated.

Following the robbery, Sohrabi began keeping the store's front door locked. Days later, security footage showed three masked individuals attempting to enter the store, according to the report.

Sohrabi has started a GoFundMe campaign to help cover rent and expenses, and said safety concerns have left the future of the business uncertain.
