San Mateo, CA--Family-owned jeweler Shane Co., established in 1929, has announced the grand opening of its new store in San Mateo. The relocated store is at 2003 Chess Drive in the Bridgepointe Shopping Center and opened at 11 am PDT on July 12.

According to a news release, the new spacious showroom offers a personalized customer experience, showcasing the brand's exceptional service, handcrafted quality, and a vast selection of fine jewelry. "San Mateo and the Bay area is a community we hold near and dear to our hearts," said Rordan Shane, President and CEO of Shane Co, as per the release. "Nearly 50 years ago, we opened our first store in San Mateo, and we're thrilled to welcome our customers into our redesigned flagship store that offers a personalized and high-touch shopping experience."

The release noted that the store featured an in-store pop-up radio booth in celebration of the grand opening as part of their new "Made to Shine" brand campaign. Customers shared stories about how jewelry has added meaning to their lives, which were entered into the Shane Co.'s Made to Shine Real Stories Giveaway. Twelve entrants won $1,000 each.

The San Mateo store offers a more immersive, customer-focused experience. Interactive three-dimensional displays educate customers about Shane Co.'s commitment to ethical sourcing and its in-house design process, the jeweler said. Customers can also create their unique pieces in the store's maker space. The showroom also features a viewing area for watching jewelers at work, a daylight viewing area for observing gemstones in natural light, and an extensive selection of natural and lab-grown diamond engagement rings and fine fashion jewelry.
