Meridian, ID--Simmons Fine Jewelry will hold its third annual "Show and Shine" car event on Saturday, October 12, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 1220 N. Olive Avenue. The gathering aims to unite automotive enthusiasts while supporting Foster + Heart, a local organization benefiting foster children in the Treasure Valley.

According to an update on Eventbrite, Idaho native and IndyCar driver Sting Ray Robb will attend the event and select a vehicle for the "Sting Ray's Choice" award. This accolade recognizes a car with outstanding design, performance, and attention to detail.
Car owners interested in showcasing their vehicles can register for $40, which includes an event T-shirt and a raffle ticket. Proceeds from registrations and raffles will go directly to Foster + Heart. Car staging begins at 1 p.m., with the main event starting at 2 p.m.
Attendees can look forward to raffle prizes, a "trunk or treat" experience for children, food trucks, and a 1974 Coyote-Foyt race car display. Raffle drawings will commence at 4 p.m., and winners must be present to claim their prizes.
The event is free for spectators, and no registration is required.
