New York, NY--Lab grown diamond jewelry brand, Smiling Rocks, has become a member of the the environmental non-profit, "1% for the Planet."

Smiling Rocks says it aims to build “a chain of smiles through sustainable luxury.” Founded in 2019, the co-founders’ mission is to refashion the industry by offering stunning luxury designs and collections as a means of making the world a better place. 

“We are on a mission to make this world a better place by first starting with us and our business,” said co-founders Zulu Ghevriya and Manish Jiwani. Ghevriya and Jiwani are self-made businessmen with over 20 years of experience in the diamond and jewelry industry and have built the business as an embodiment of their dream and lifetime goal. Over the years they have seen this industry strive but did not feel 100% satisfied with their accomplishment. They wanted to do something for the world to ensure they can leave a positive footprint for the future generations.

Smiling Rocks have always worked behind supporting charity organizations that are protecting and preserving our Planet Earth and the wildlife within it. It is working with One Tree Planted and Trees for The Future to support reforestation where they have planted an incredible 133,620 trees alongside Space for Giants with the initiative of stopping the illegal wildlife trade program and preserving wildlife in Africa. As they are working behind such a strong philanthropic business model, they are thrilled to be a member of 1% for the Planet and pledge to donate 1% of their loose diamond business revenue to environmental causes.
