Rafaelian, founder of Alex and Ani and Metal Alchemist, described the collaboration as "a movement of love and purpose." She noted that the partnership came about through Jackson, who brought the two together. "When Jackson connected Snoop and me, it was pure creative chemistry," she said.
Snoop stated that the collection reflects his focus on love and unity. "I chose to name the collection Lovechild because I felt like the world is so full of anger and negativity, and division, and I know that I lead with love," he said in a video on the line's website.
According to Boston.com, Snoop wore a Metal Alchemist medallion during the Paris Summer Olympics, crafted with copper from the Statue of Liberty and inscribed with "Liberty Enlightens The World."
The collaboration includes unique designs such as a smoke-holder made with silver and copper, which Snoop praised in a video. The jewelry line is now available through Metal Alchemist and Gamma's platforms.
