Deerfield Beach, FL--The International Titanium Association awarded Edward Rosenberg and Spectore Corporation of Deerfield Beach with its 2010 Titanium Advancement and Development Award. This recognition, presented October 4, comes after the firm’s 30 years of dedication to the development and manufacture of titanium in consumer products. The award is shown left.

“This is an incredible honor,” said Rosenberg, Spectore’s CEO and designer. “We’re proud that our efforts have been acknowledged by the number-one titanium metal association in the world.”

“It is remarkable that a product as small in scale as jewelry can be recognized in the same arena as aerospace and military applications,” added Mirella Connor, co-owner of Spectore.

The prestigious award was created to inspire designers and manufacturers to develop innovative applications in titanium.

Spectore has a catalog of more than 2,000 pieces in its designer line, Edward Mirell, and manufactures more than 58,500 styles for private label and jewelry fashion brands. The company was founded in 1983 and offers a hypoallergenic fashion product made of responsible, contemporary metals at a competitive price. Its jewelry and accessories include titanium, its patented and trademarked Black Ti, and cobalt. It is a leader in the contemporary metals jewelry sector with its Edward Mirell brand of designer jewelry and wedding bands.
