Little Rock, AR—In honor of its 75th anniversary, Stanley Jewelers has launched an initiative called “75 for 75,” wherein the jeweler will support 75 local nonprofit events throughout 2011.

Stanley’s already typically supports more than 50 events each year. “We are pleased to support many local causes, but we are delighted and proud to be involved with causes near and dear to our customers’ hearts,” said Loyd Stanley, president and second-generation jeweler. “When a customer asks for our support, it’s hard to say no.”

Sherrye McBryde, executive director of the area's Susan G. Komen for the Cure praised the jeweler for its ongoing support of the organization. “Congratulations to Stanley’s on their 75th anniversary. Susan G. Komen for the Cure has been the recipient of their support for five years. It is their willingness to reach out to the community and help with a cause that allows Komen to continue its promise to save lives and end breast cancer,” she said.
