Suspects on the Run After Jewelry Store Burglary in Evansville March 13, 2023 (0 comments)
Evansville, IN--Police are on the hunt for suspects after a jewelry store was burglarized on Thursday evening. The burglary occurred at Droste's jewelry store on South Green River Road, where an alarm was triggered around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the culprit had broken in through a window.

A news report stated that authorities searched the premises and determined that the store had lost thousands of dollars in jewelry. Tim Droste, the owner of Droste's Jewelry Shoppe, said in the report that the thief made off with approximately $8,000 to $10,000 worth of merchandise.
Fortunately, the business's advanced surveillance system captured the crime on camera, which could potentially aid the investigation. Furthermore, police were able to recover fingerprints from the scene.
