THE 11TH HOUR? JEWELERS’ SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS DRAW BUSINESS ON THE DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS |  December 26, 2012 (0 comments)

Merrick, NY—'Twas the day before Christmas and in its final review of jewelers’ special holiday social media efforts, The Centurion found that jewelers fell into two camps regarding their social presence on the day before Christmas. Some were quiet and hadn't posted for several days to a week, presumably (we hope) because they were busy with in-person foot traffic and didn't have time to reach out to cyber-friends. The other group did keep a presence up to the last minute, posting at least once in the 24 hours before Christmas. The reigning themes were, of course, good wishes to customers, along with some last minute gift ideas and a reminder of open hours.
