Philadelphia, PA--The 1916 Company, a collectible watch and fine jewelry company, has partnered with Australian golf pro, Min Woo Lee, by welcoming him to Philadelphia for the Truist Championship, held May 8 - 11 at the Philadelphia Cricket Club's Wissahickon course.
Lee is now a “friend of the 1916 Company.” This partnership comes fresh off his first PGA Tour victory at the Texas Children’s Houston Open. As a golfer, Lee is known for his lightning swing speed, dynamic playstyle, distinctive catchphrases and viral social media presence that is capturing the attention of a new generation of golf enthusiasts.

Lee wears the De Bethune DB28xs Starry Seas both on and off the course. Constructed with an ultra-lightweight titanium case with ergonomically designed lugs, its advanced shock absorption system enables it to withstand the rigors of competition and extreme force. The random guilloché dial is designed to mirror the tranquil ripples of the ocean at night, with stars reflecting off the water.
The 1916 Company is a majority investor of De Bethune and primary point of the watch brand’s distribution in the United States, Switzerland and Asia. De Bethune’s flagship lounge, the brand’s first dedicated space in the United States, was inaugurated within The 1916 Company’s New York location in March.

While in Philadelphia, The 1916 Company gave Lee a true Philly experience taking “Chef Woozy,” known for the catchphrase, “Let him cook,” worked the grill at South Philly last night to get behind the grill with Angelo’s Pizzeria, known nationwide for its pizza and sandwiches. The restaurant is also known for its owner, Danny DiGiampietro’s business and personal relationship with Philly native, Bradley Cooper, who also works the grill on occasion.
