New York, NY--Tiffany & Co. has opened its 2024 US Open pop-up at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, featuring tennis trophies crafted by the jeweler and a diamond-encrusted tennis racket. The pop-up runs from August 19 through September 8.
According to a report in Only Natural Diamonds, a display centerpiece is the Elsa Peretti® Diamonds by the Yard® tennis racket, created for the 50th anniversary of Peretti's collaboration with Tiffany.
The racket includes gold and diamond details, with the brand's signature robin's egg blue rim and a black handle featuring an open-heart motif, reflecting Peretti's design influence.
The pop-up also showcases replicas of the US Open Men's and Women's Singles Championship Trophies, which Tiffany & Co. has been crafting since 1987. These trophies are handmade annually by Tiffany's silversmiths in Cumberland, Rhode Island.
According to the article, the installation also features an AR Mirror by Snap Inc., which offers interactive experiences for visitors. The navy blue walls are decorated with Tiffany blue tennis balls, adding to the display.
American tennis player Taylor Fritz, currently ranked No. 12, visited the pop-up, wearing Tiffany diamond jewelry, reinforcing the jeweler's connection with the sport.
The pop-up is located in the Fountain Plaza of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
