Tokyo, Japan--In the wake of reopening its emblematic Fifth Avenue establishment in New York, Tiffany & Co. introduces its distinctive "Landmark" theme to Japan. The Ginza store in Tokyo, inaugurated initially in 1972, was Tiffany's third international flagship. Following a relocation in 1996 and a refurbishment in 2008, the iconic façade of this flagship, crafted by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, ushers in a fresh era.

As per a report published by LVMH, spanning nearly 890 square meters, "the world of Tiffany & Co. unravels with curves and soothing hues, generating a refined and welcoming atmosphere."
The report notes that art pieces intermingle with the brand's iconic collections, and a novel diamond display concept immerses visitors in Tiffany & Co.'s universe. The ground floor hosts famed collections like Tiffany T, Tiffany Hardwear and Tiffany Lock. It also carves out a dedicated space for the Elsa Peretti® collections, celebrating the legendary designer who joined the brand in 1974. The design of this dedicated area mirrors her aesthetic, incorporating cork-based furniture inspired by her iconic Bean design.
Per the report, the second floor invites clients to explore Tiffany's celebrated Love & Engagement collection, including the unique six-prong "Tiffany setting" introduced by founder Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1886.
This setting, elevating the diamond, revolutionized the modern engagement ring. The floor also features a selection of Tiffany High Jewelry pieces in a space honoring the creativity of designer Jean Schlumberger.
The report highlights that a talented artist of the 20th century, Schlumberger joined Tiffany in 1956, leaving an indelible mark on the jewelry world. His signature Bird on a Rock brooch continues to be one of Tiffany & Co.'s most distinguished creations. The floor also boasts a revamped private salon designed to mimic a luxurious living room, providing guests a nice escape.
The unveiling of the Tiffany & Co. Omotesandō store in Tokyo is slated for early September 2023.
