According to a report, the National Retail Federation (NRF) highlighted that consumers spent $23.9 billion on Valentine's gifts in 2022, up from $21.8 billion the previous year.

A record $6.2 billion of that amount was spent on jewelry.

With the addition of Galentine's Day and the celebration of female friendship on February 13, the numbers are expected to be even higher in this new calendar year. This looks like another successful year for heart-themed jewelry, despite inflation and a volatile stock market.

Highlighting the trend, Alex Soldier presents an 18-karat yellow gold Open Heart Ring adorned with responsibly sourced diamonds, rubies, and sapphires, available for purchase at $6,320.

Meanwhile, Lugano Diamonds offers several Valentine-themed pieces, such as the Interchangeable Ombré Necklace with heart-shaped diamonds, rubies, and pink sapphires, the Heart Shape Diamond Ring featuring a 9.7-carat pink heart diamond, and the Yellow Heart Shape Diamond Necklace and Bracelet, set in 18-karat yellow gold and studded with yellow diamonds.

Prices are available upon request at luganodiamonds.com.
