The report showed halo settings topped searches in eight states, while hidden diamond designs led in seven states, largely across the Midwest. Thick-band engagement rings and diamond band styles each ranked as the most searched option in five states.

On stone shapes, oval cuts ranked first overall, leading searches in 13 states, the report stated. Round brilliant cuts followed, topping searches in 10 states, mainly in the Northeast.

Pear-shaped stones were the most searched in seven states, while marquise cuts led in six states, primarily in the South. Princess-cut stones ranked first in four states, with interest spread across regions.

According to the report, the findings are based on Google Trends search interest over a 12-month period and show no single engagement ring style or shape dominated nationwide, with preferences varying by state.
